Vinyasa Flow

with Amy Greene

Slow flow will be practiced at a moderate to slower pace based on the energy and

needs of the students present.  We will take opportunities throughout the flow to explore individual postures and deepen our awareness of breath in the pose. Linking breath with movement, our practice will both hopefully invigorate our physical bodies while simultaneously calming and restoring our subtle bodies. Modifications will be offered and beginners are welcomed.

Your body is more powerful than you can imagine, filled with life energy and the ability to self-heal. With Tapping, sometimes called Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT), you take control of that power.   Tapping is a simple stress reduction  technique based on the ancient

Chinese practice of acupuncture.  It is acupuncture without the needles. You simply decide what emotion or physical issue you want to work on, repeat some simple phrases and use your fingertips to tap on some of your body’s acupressure points.  Tapping sends calming signals to your brain to help break the cycle of discomfort associated with difficult memories, negative beliefs, uncomfort-able feelings, or physical pain.

Tapping reduces cortisol and other stress hormones while increasing the production of brain chemicals that make us feel better, thus allowing us to relieve our stress.  We can let go of old patterns that no longer serve us and open up to greater freedom and joy. Tapping helps to free us from unnecessary medications, promotes wellness, and creates bigger, better, more loving, and more abundant lives.
